For those who work a conventional work week, Friday is and always has been a day to look forward to. For the past 8 months though, I personally have worked anything but 'conventional'. Consequently, one day runs into the next. For those who can't wait for the weekend, this one is for you.

The Ottawa Humane Society Auxiliary (aka the fundraisers) are holding it a few events over the course of the next few weekends - great cause, super events: (click here for more details on their events)
- 5th November: Auction Doors open at 10 a.m. and the auction starts at 11a.m. Loch March Golf and Country Club,
- 19th November: Craft
- 24th and 25th November: Christmas Craft Sale during mall hours at Carlingwood Mall,
The Ottawa Wine and Food Show begins today - another reason to look forward to this Friday! this is the 21st year in the running (how many have you been to?). Kicks off today and runs until Sunday. Click here to be transported to the details.

A thought to leave you with - a question asked to me last night by two of my favorite young gentleman friends: 'Why is it when us guys say we want to go out and hang out with our friends, our girlfriends complain that they have no one to hang out with. So they don't want to be alone. So, we should stay and hang out with them. Why don't they have friends to hang with like we do?'
I shrugged and wanting to avoid a great long detailed answer, told them I'd get back to them with some ideas....... Help me out here!!!!
